What is the OcularRing optical instrument for Binoculars
Introduction
The OcularRing buy here — specially developed for this purpose — is designed firstly to significantly reduce a wide range of neuro-visual complaints for a binocular user, such as eye strain and visual fatigue caused by the binoculars, and secondly to optimize 3D image processing to provide a better balanced and more complete 3D view than is currently used to with binoculars. The full list of benefits is provided below.
The OcularRing optical instrument for binocular use can be applied both preventatively and as a solution for neuro-visual stress discomfort during binocular viewing. By reducing fusion-related neuro-visual stress, the OcularRing can help minimize user fatigue, supporting more productive planned viewing hours and prolonged binocular sessions.
The OcularRing is an upgrade for binoculars that can be installed on binocular eyecups quickly and easily, without requiring modifications, and can be removed at any time.
Binocular fusion regulation adjustment is an essential third base setting — alongside interpupillary distance and focusing — that is completely missing as a built-in feature from all binoculars. With the OcularRing, we have developed this unique third base setting, bringing the fine-tuning of a Binocular Fusing-Unfusing Instrument to existing binoculars and making it exclusively available through us.
The OcularRing is designed to be fully safe for the binoculars and their optical system. This allows the binocular user to manually regulate fusion while viewing objects through the binoculars by adjusting and fine-tuning the visual image overlap, adding first of all extra neuro-visual comfort, while also achieving greater visual precision during binocular use.
The binoculars' light transmission and full original field of view are preserved and maintained by the OcularRing and its underlying technology.
Enhanced Comfort for the binocular user during binocular use
The OcularRing relieves symptoms of neuro-visual stress caused by binoculars during binocular viewing, including:
-
Eye strain / Visual fatigue
-
Pressure on and around the eyes and forehead
-
Sore eyes
-
Dizziness or lightheadedness
-
Nausea / Vertigo
-
Motion sensitivity
-
Jerky or unstable image
-
Light sensitivity
-
Headaches
-
Double vision
-
Difficulty focusing
-
Blurred vision
-
Concentration problems
-
Reduced ability to judge depth
-
Inadequate image overlap
-
Incomplete and not optimally balanced vision
-
Sensory overload
-
Disorientation
-
Neck pain, shoulder pain, and upper back tension
Two available viewing modes (The Third Base Setting)
The OcularRing introduces the missing third base setting in binoculars, which operates in two distinct modes. (Note: This overarching third base setting is achieved by adjusting the sliding pieces as shown in the user manual and video).
Binocular 3D Fusion Mode:
The OcularRing’s Binocular 3D Fusion Mode settings improve 3D image processing between the binoculars, eyes, and brain, allowing for binocular viewing with less to no neuro-visual fusion stress.
Bimonocular Vision Mode:
The OcularRing offers a Bimonocular Vision Mode setting for fully unfusing images, allowing for full monocular vision with both eyes. This supports extra-long sessions with less to no neuro-visual fusion stress, converting 3D stereo binoculars with two viewing tubes into a monocular with two viewing tubes and providing approximately a 30% wider monocular field of view. Bimonocular vision is more practical than monocular vision with a single monocular viewing tube.
Easy Installation
The OcularRing buy here is a simple-to-use accessory that is easy to attach and detach from binocular eyecups, allowing users to fine-tune their view.

Built to Perform
Technical explanation
1. The bimonocular vision mode can be adjusted
to be perfectly symmetrical.
· Bimonocular vision mode is achieved
2. The visual images from both eyes can
seamlessly fuse in and out of each other.
· Binocular 3D fusion mode is achieved across all settings.
3. The OcularRing is a basic optical instrument
for binoculars, that allows users to choose
binocular 3D fusion or bimonocular vision modes.

4. The adjustments shown in the illustration apply to both OcularRings.
· Bimonocular vision mode: has one setting.
· Binocular 3D Fusion Mode: Using any of the other available settings — between bimonocular vision and the initial setup — activates the fusion modes, allowing your eyes to fuse the images seamlessly.
The OcularRing instrument can also be offered as an accessory by binoculars manufacturers and distributors.
We invite strategic partnerships with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), or entrepreneurs, or technology partners interested in utilizing the proprietary technology to develop a Binocular Fusing-Unfusing Binoculars or to integrate the fusing-unfusing fusion regulation into binocular systems.
