Een hardware-oplossing in de vorm van een montuur dat onder VR-brillen past om Virtual Reality-misselijkheid te voorkomen, eenvoudig in te stellen en te gebruiken door de VR-gebruiker
Dit optische instrument montuur kan worden gebruikt in combinatie met virtual reality-brillen en augmented reality-brillen voor een comfortabelere en evenwichtigere kijkervaring.
Het montuur wordt met name door de orthoptist erkend vanwege de effectiviteit bij het verlichten van symptomen die voortkomen uit fusiestress ten gevolge van fusiestoornissen. Het gaat hierbij onder andere om visuele bewegingsgevoeligheid (hieronder kunnen vallen: duizeligheid, misselijkheid, vermoeide ogen en een drukkend gevoel in het aangezicht of het hoofd) en andere symptomen.
De binoculaire fusie-instellingen van het montuur worden hiervoor gebruikt, zodat de binoculaire fusie tijdens VR- en AR-gebruik wordt geoptimaliseerd.
We hebben al een montuur ontwikkeld dat past in bepaalde VR-brillen. We kunnen het montuur ook aanpassen aan uw specifieke VR- of AR-bril, of met u samenwerken om het montuur volledig te koppelen aan uw hardware.

Deze video legt kort het basisprincipe uit van dit optische instrument montuur. Oogheelkundig betreft het de aanpak van fusie; het montuur kan deze fusie regelen en afstellen. Fusie is het onderliggende principe voor binoculair zien, wat men in de volksmond kent als stereo- en 3D-zicht.
